Privacy Policy

KORE Performance ("we", "us", "our") operates the KORE mobile application. This page describes what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

• Profile data: First name, sports, training goals, height, weight, season phase, and optional profile photo — provided during onboarding or in your athlete dossier.
• Workout data: Exercise completions, RPE, duration, program progress, streaks, and gamification progress (XP, rank).
• Assessment data: Movement scan scores and derived metrics used to build your training protocol. Pose processing runs on-device; we store assessment results, not raw video.
• Session photos: Optional pump and in-session photos you capture during workouts. You control whether receipts and photos are shared with your squad (private, squad, or discover).
• Health data (optional): If you grant Apple Health access, we read HRV, sleep, steps, resting heart rate, active energy, and weight to calculate readiness. We do not write to HealthKit.
• Account data: Anonymous session by default; email and password if you upgrade your account.
• Usage analytics: Lightweight, pseudonymous event data (e.g. workout completed, screen flows) to improve the product. No advertising tracking.

Camera & Photos

KORE uses your camera for the movement assessment (on-device pose analysis) and optional session photos during workouts. Assessment video is not uploaded. Session photos you choose to share may be stored in our cloud (Supabase) and shown to teammates according to your visibility settings. Photos marked private stay on your device and in your personal vault only.

Squad & Social Features

If you share a session with your squad, teammates in your cohort or organization may see your training receipt (program name, completion, duration, RPE). Photos are shared only when you enable photo sharing. You can change defaults in Profile and override per workout on the finish screen.

How We Use Your Data

• Generate and adapt personalized training programs
• Track progress, readiness, and workout history
• Power squad feed, reactions, and referral invites (when you opt in)
• Send local or push notifications you have opted into (e.g. streak reminders, assessment reminders)
• Operate, secure, and improve the app

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security so you can only access your own private data. Cohort-visible sessions follow your sharing settings. Authentication sessions are stored in your device's encrypted keychain (SecureStore).

Third-Party Services

• Supabase: Database, auth, and file storage (privacy policy)
• Google Gemini: Program generation — receives an anonymized training profile, not your name or contact info
• QuickPose: On-device pose estimation for assessments — no video sent to QuickPose servers
• Expo / EAS: App builds and over-the-air updates (privacy policy)

Data Retention & Your Rights

We retain data while your account exists. You may export your data (Profile → Export My Data) or delete your account and associated server data (Profile → Delete Account). For other requests, contact us below.

Children's Privacy

KORE is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Users ages 13–17 may require guardian consent depending on region; contact us if you believe a child has provided data without appropriate consent.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated date.
